Voorheesville Kitchen
This was a fun investment home my client was flipping with loads of character to work with like exposed beams, Brazilian cherry floors, huge windows, while nestled up on the Helderberg Escarpment for a spectacular view. We utilized some of the reclaimed wood from other areas of the house to finish the back of the island and wrapped it with a beautiful live edge waterfall countertop to reflect the rustic features of the home. We used marine blue cabinets on the lower cabinetry to beautifully compliment the floors, and ashy brown uppers to pull in the colors from the reclaimed wood. The live edge wood on the island was mirrored on the custom-made and locally sourced metal shelves to flank the range and hood.
